Single sign-on

Your team signs in with the account they already have at work. creekX works with any provider that offers OpenID Connect, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta and Keycloak.

Set it up, step by step

  1. Open Single sign-on

In creekX, as the owner or an admin, open Settings, then Single sign-on. It shows the address your provider sends people back to. Copy it.

  2. Register creekX with your provider

In your provider's admin console, add creekX as a web application and paste that address as its redirect (or callback) address. The provider gives you a client ID and a client secret.

  3. Fill them in

Back in creekX, paste the provider's address (its issuer, exactly as it gives it), the client ID and the client secret.

  4. Choose who may join

Optionally, a domain: only addresses there can sign in this way. And the role somebody new joins as. People already here keep their role; nobody can join as owner.

  5. Test, then save

Choose Test. When it works, save, and try signing in with it in a private browser window.

Stop single sign-on

Choose Stop single sign-on. Everybody keeps their account and signs in with their password.
