Local, community and faith channels
Arrange recurring programmes and uploaded videos into a round-the-clock channel with scheduling and operational guidance for your team.
When scheduled programming must continue through nights, weekends and gaps between live broadcasts, CreekX keeps the playout on infrastructure you control. Upload your videos, build a schedule and run a TV-style channel around the clock from an Ubuntu server.
24/7 Channels is included with CreekX Media Server. The self-hosted video library stores and prepares your programmes, while the channel schedule controls what plays and when. The schedule refills itself so programming can continue without someone repeatedly restarting a stream. Your library and channel run on your server. Video leaves that server only when you choose an outbound destination or integration.
Arrange recurring programmes and uploaded videos into a round-the-clock channel with scheduling and operational guidance for your team.
Turn existing footage, previews and scheduled programmes into a continuous channel that remains available between live events.
Run scheduled video for audiences watching through browsers, phones, smart TVs or Android display screens.
Upload and store the videos used for channel playback in the self-hosted Media Server library.
Choose the order and timing of the programmes that should play. CreekX uses that schedule to run the channel and refill its programming.
Use protected watch links, viewer approval and connection logs when the channel should be limited to authorised viewers.
Media Server supports WebRTC, HLS and low-latency HLS for viewing. Restreaming is also available when you choose to send a stream to an outside platform.
CreekX 24/7 Channels is a Media Server capability rather than a separately licensed product.
The Pro plan allows up to 10 channels on air, but that commercial allowance is separate from server capacity. The number of 24/7 channels one server can sustain has not yet been load-tested. Hardware, video quality and other workloads affect the appropriate server. If you are unsure about channel count, video quality, viewers or hardware, describe what you want to keep on air and CreekX can help assess the requirement.
The self-serve trial suits developers, IT teams and technical buyers who can evaluate Media Server on Ubuntu, WSL 2 or Multipass.
Speak to CreekX first if the installation must be fully offline, the project involves multiple servers or a large audience, procurement requires tender documents, or your team wants installation, training or priority support.
CreekX currently runs on one server per installation and is not intended for very large public audiences distributed across a coordinated group of servers.
The 14-day Media Server trial requires no credit card and includes all Pro features, with trial limits of up to 5 channels on air, 5 restream destinations per stream and 500 library videos. Installation uses one command and requires internet access while CreekX is downloaded. At the end of the trial, the workspace becomes read-only; its videos, channels, streams and recordings remain in place.
Media Server Pro costs $99 per server per month or $999 per server per year. Enterprise requirements are priced by quote. The subscription covers software use, updates and email support for the paid period. If it is not renewed, updates and support stop, but channels already running continue and stored content is not deleted. After a 30-day grace period, new channels cannot be started and new features cannot be enabled until the subscription is renewed.
The public trial needs internet access during installation. For a fully offline or air-gapped site, CreekX supplies the offline installation package and licence file through the assisted sales process.
The Pro plan includes up to 10 channels on air, but the technical capacity of a server depends on its hardware, video quality and other workloads. A fixed channel capacity has not been load-tested.
CreekX uses plain-language screens for day-to-day operation. Paid installation and remote training are available for teams that want help configuring the server and preparing operators and administrators.
You can begin by explaining what you want to show, when it should play and where people will watch. If you are not sure about channel count, video quality, audience size or server hardware, say so in your enquiry.
Use the self-serve trial if you have an internet-connected Ubuntu environment. Contact CreekX first when you need a fully offline installation, help choosing hardware or an Enterprise quotation.
