Install Media Server yourself
Paid licences include a one-command Ubuntu self-installer that can work offline. The step-by-step guide covers DNS, HTTPS, firewall ports and first sign-in. If the installation gets stuck, help is available by email.
You may be installing CreekX on an Ubuntu server, preparing a fully offline site or deciding how your team will operate it. Paid Pro and Cameras licences include self-install resources, email support and release updates during the active subscription. Installation carried out for you, training and priority support are available separately for paid or Enterprise deployments.
You do not need to arrive with a finished specification. Explain what you need to stream or view, whether the site must work offline and any deadline. If you are unsure about the server, camera details, audience size or technical setup, say so.

Discuss evaluation of CreekX Cameras using your own camera models with CreekX. Fully offline and air-gapped sites receive the offline installation package and licence file directly from CreekX.
Speak to CreekX first if you need several servers, more than 50 live streams, thousands of viewers, tender documentation, installation carried out for you, training or Enterprise support. Hardware and service requirements can then be sized for the deployment.
CreekX can be installed and configured on your server remotely or prepared as an offline handover. This is a paid or Enterprise service.
A remote training session can cover going live, channels, cameras, people and access controls, and routine server care.
Faster response times, the contact channel and any extended coverage hours are agreed in the Enterprise contract. These terms are not fixed across deployments.
CreekX does not currently provide round-the-clock phone support. Requests sent overnight are answered on the next business day unless extended coverage has been agreed in an Enterprise contract.
If CreekX or one of its parts crashes, it restarts automatically. A 24/7 channel is set to recover automatically, and a backup stream can be configured to take over.
When a channel, live stream or camera goes offline, CreekX sends an email alert to the customer’s team.
The admin console shows server health and server logs. The troubleshooting guide covers common failures step by step.
If a subscription is not renewed, existing live streams, 24/7 channels and camera recording continue running. Recordings remain playable and customer data stays on the customer’s server. Updates and email support end. After a 30-day grace period, the customer cannot start new channels, add cameras or enable new features until the subscription is renewed.
Twenty-four guides cover quick start, server installation, live input, 24/7 channels, cameras, recordings, captions, sharing, viewer security, single sign-on, backups, licensing and troubleshooting. A full REST API reference is also available.
The 14-day trial requires no credit card and includes the Pro feature set within the published trial limits. It requires internet access during installation and does not include the CreekX Cameras portal.
The benchmark page documents CreekX’s first-party performance measurements together with the test date, product version, server, video and network conditions.
Describe what you are trying to run, where CreekX will be installed, whether the site must work offline and any deadline. Include known channel, camera or viewer numbers, but write “not sure” where those details still need to be worked out.
