About

About CreekX

If you are considering CreekX for video that needs to stay close to real time, run continuously or remain under your organisation’s control, you need to know who is responsible and what is available today. CreekX is a Dubai-based software company building video systems that organisations run on their own servers.

01intro

Video infrastructure on the customer’s server

CreekX develops subscription software for live streaming, IP camera viewing and round-the-clock channels. Media Server is licensed per server, while CreekX Cameras is licensed per camera. Both use customer-controlled infrastructure instead of hosting the customer’s video on CreekX servers. The company operates from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and delivers remotely worldwide.

02Capabilities

What CreekX builds today

CreekX Media Server

Software for sending and viewing live video through WebRTC, HLS and low-latency HLS, with SRT, RTSP, RTMP and browser-based inputs. It includes recording, viewer controls, an administration console and tools for managing live streams.

CreekX Cameras

A separate product for bringing ONVIF and RTSP camera sources into a browser-based live wall, with recording, playback, clips, snapshots and access by site. Support for cameras limited to the Media2 profile is still being added, and validation with physical cameras remains outstanding.

CreekX 24/7 Channels

A Media Server capability for arranging uploaded videos into a scheduled channel that continues playing around the clock. Server requirements depend on video quality and the number of channels; a fixed channel capacity per server has not been load-tested.

03Scope & limitations

A practical view of control

Run it where your team controls it

CreekX installs on the customer’s server. Fully offline and air-gapped deployments use an offline installation package and licence file supplied through CreekX after a conversation about the site.

Keep data paths visible

Core video, recordings and logs remain on customer-controlled infrastructure. Optional off-site backups, storage connections and other outbound integrations create additional data paths when the customer enables them.

Give operators and engineers different levels of detail

The product uses plain-language administration screens, while public guides and an API reference provide deeper implementation information for technical evaluators.

04First-party evidence

Evidence you can inspect

CreekX is newly launched and does not yet publish customer stories, testimonials or customer logos. Its current public evidence is the working Media Server trial, technical documentation, product demonstrations using demo footage and first-party testing.

A working 14-day trial

Technical buyers can install Media Server on Ubuntu and evaluate it for 14 days without a credit card. The installation needs internet access, and the trial excludes the CreekX Cameras portal and the fully offline installation package.

Public technical material

CreekX provides 24 public guides covering installation and product operation, plus a REST API reference documented in OpenAPI 3.1.

A dated recorded-stream test

On 13 October 2026, CreekX 2026.10.13 was tested for 60-second steps on an Ubuntu 24.04 cloud server with 4 vCPU, 8 GB memory, 100 GB NVMe storage and about 890 Mbit/s upload bandwidth. Using 1080p, 25 fps H.264 inputs at 5 Mbit/s, 49 incoming streams remained live while being recorded; CreekX reported 13% CPU use across four cores after subtracting the test tools’ usage. The inputs were not a validation with physical cameras.

05Scope & limitations

Clear about the current boundaries

CreekX currently runs as one server per installation. Discuss projects requiring coordinated delivery across servers with CreekX before deployment. Server capacity depends on hardware, video quality, bandwidth and storage. Large deployments are sized with CreekX before installation. CreekX does not currently hold a formal security certification and has not yet undergone an external audit or third-party penetration test; its security statements describe product features checked through its own automated tests.

06process

Who is accountable

Ankush Banyal is the named contact for CreekX. At this stage, the founder personally answers every enquiry within one working day and handles the initial fit discussion. Paid Pro and Cameras licences include email support from Sunday to Thursday, 09:00-18:00 Gulf Standard Time, with a reply within one business day. CreekX does not currently offer round-the-clock phone support; additional Enterprise coverage must be defined in the customer agreement.

07Your next step

Choose the right next step

Start with the Media Server trial if you can evaluate the software on Ubuntu and want to test live streaming or 24/7 channels. Speak with CreekX first if you need the Cameras product, a fully offline or air-gapped installation, several servers, more than 50 live streams, thousands of viewers, tender support, installation, training or Enterprise terms.
